FSNHP Department:
The old saying "Change is the only constant" has certainly been true for FSNHP the past several years. Now entering our fifth year together, we are capitalizing on the strengths of each discipline within the department. We have seen changes take place that should enhance our abilities to remain on the cutting edge of research, instruction, and outreach.
It is certainly an honor for me to return to my alma mater to work with what I consider to be some of the finest in their fields. As we strive to move ahead to proactively address the issues of our broad clientele, you can rest assured we will not forget our glorious and rich tradition created by the giants in the field that came before us. Our goal, as a department, is to build on the foundation set so many years ago by pioneers like Professors F. H. Herzer and Dorothy Dickens and strengthened by stalwarts such as Dr's. Ammerman, Cardwell, Futrell, Kilgore, and Rogers. By following in their footsteps with an innovative and creative proactive approach, we shall surely be successful in our quest to produce quality future leaders with uncommon solutions to common problems.
